Cycle touring
- Cycling tour "La route du Bugey"
This marked road allows us to discover the villages of our region. Possible all the year.
Departure : Poncin / Distance : 87 kms (possibilities to divide the tour into 2 more little tours)

From Poncin to Thoirette, take thise picturesque road and follow the Ain river to discover villages, bridges and dams. Possible all year long.

- Cycling tours "L’Ain à vélo"
27 marked roads to discover the Ain region : Bugey, Bresse, Dombes and Pays de Gex. Among these 27 roads, 3 start from our region. the paths are marked to make you discovery of the region easier.
Road 7 "Sur la route de l’eau". Departure : Cerdon – 48 Kms – 4 hours – rather difficult - Possible all year long. Interesting places : Cerdon and its copper industry - Poncin and its medieval remains, etc.
Road 21 " la « Festivalière »"
Departure : Pont-d’Ain – 52 Kms – 4 hours – easy - Possible all year long.
Interesting places : Ambronay and its abbay - the castle of the Allymes - Antoine de Saint-Exupery's castle, etc.
Road 22 "Et au milieu coule une rivière..."
Departure : Poncin – 56 kms – 4 hours – rather easy- Possible year long.
Interesting places : Poncin and its medieval remains - Cize Bolozon and its bridge, etc.

You enjoyed our marked foodpaths with your mountain bike from all over the villages.
From Saint-Jean-le-Vieux, you can buy a map with special mountain bike marked foodpath (available at the two bakeries).
