The Ain valley is a paradise for fishing, offering a lot of possibilities of courses : first and second categories. Among the fishes living in this river, you can find : trouts, pikes, carps, pikeperchs, etc.

Artificial lake dedicated to fishing
  • Two artificial lakes in Priay : one lake managed by "la Gaule Priaysienne". Compulsory specific fishing permit in sale in the Priay's shop, the other managed by the village subjected to the fishing Ain river rules.
  • The Vorgey artificial lake situated next to the Ambronay's station : managed by "les Ambrons pêcheurs". Compulsory specific fishing permit.
  • Longeville artificial lake situated next to Pont-d'Ain : 2nd category man-made lake subjected to the fishing Ain river rules.
  • Artificial lake "la Route" in Jujurieux : managed by "la Gaule des Brotteaux". Compulsory specific fishing permit.
